Triumph or Tragedy?
My 2011 book is out, a bio-critique of Arianna Huffington and the sale of The Huffington Post to AOL. Citizen Arianna is a more personal account of my relationship with Ms. Huffington since we first met in the winter of 2000. I view Arianna as part dazzling and part enigmatic, but always fascinating to watch. I do not think that The Huffington Post and its higher profile at AOL is the be all and end all to elevated journalism. It’s a mixed bag for the profession and my review of The Huffington Post sale is equally mixed. It is an obvious win for Arianna and those journalists she cherry picked, but what about the rest of us? Check it out:
